your first visit North Carolina,
Starting care can feel like a big step, and our goal is to make your first visit as comfortable, informative, and productive as possible.

When you arrive, we recommend wearing comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. This helps us perform a thorough movement assessment and better understand how your body is functioning.

During your first visit, your clinician will take the time to learn your story. We’ll discuss your symptoms, injury history, training habits, lifestyle factors, goals, and any previous treatments you’ve received. From there, we’ll perform a comprehensive examination that may include:

  • Movement and mobility assessments
  • Strength testing
  • Orthopedic and neurological testing when appropriate
  • Functional movement analysis
  • Sport- or activity-specific evaluations

Our goal is not only to identify where you hurt, but also to understand why the problem developed in the first place.

Unlike many healthcare offices, treatment often begins on day one. Depending on your condition, your clinician may incorporate hands-on treatment, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, mobility work, or movement retraining during your initial appointment.

Before you leave, we’ll discuss our findings, answer any questions you may have, and begin building a personalized treatment plan designed around your goals. Whether you’re looking to get out of pain, return to sport, improve performance, or stay active for the long term, every recommendation is tailored specifically to you.

At the end of your visit, you’ll leave with a clear understanding of:

  • What we found during your evaluation
  • What is contributing to your symptoms
  • What treatment will look like moving forward
  • What you can do between visits to accelerate your progress

Our mission is simple: help you move better, feel better, and get back to doing the things you love as quickly and safely as possible.
